96 Maxima w/ code p0745
I recently bought a 96 maxima and it has a problem with the auto transmission when shifting from 1st to 2nd it creates a shock under normal driving conditions, I connected a scanner and found code p0745 line pressure problem, I checked the pressure solenoid for operation and it seems to be working fine also checked connectors for any signs of problems but looks good, i also checked the schematic for the solenoid and it seems to be routed to a drop resistor located on the d/s strut tower..Can this resistor actually be the problem?? Has anyone ever experienced this problem??
Help will be greatly appreciated,Thanks |

Re: 96 Maxima w/ code p0745
The upshift change rpm treshold is moved up/down using that R/switch ... cant see how it could affect...
My non educated guess would be line pressure drop (sieve blocked?) or valve problem. Check links from this page: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/24 |
