Huh? Another Enzo kit?

What possibly could Fujimi do better than Tamiya's offering?

Re: Huh? Another Enzo kit?

Absolutely absurd. They cannot be serious.

Could it be the reboxed Revell...?

Re: Huh? Another Enzo kit?

They would be insane if they're tooling yet another Enzo...

Not that model companies are immune to such fits of insanity....

Re: Huh? Another Enzo kit?

The heck w/the Enzo, VW fanatics will like the VW Golf GTI V (the latest GTI), and Lexus fans get the LS600hl.

Let's hope the Ferrari 599 GTB w/"grade up parts" includes 20" BBS Challenge wheels.

By this time next year we should see new Evo X, Skyline GT-R, perhaps STI models. Maybe an F430 Scuderia?

Re: Huh? Another Enzo kit?

Oh, that VW will be sweet! Maybe we could get the new Civic (albeit sedan style) sometime, too? Direct competitors...

Re: Huh? Another Enzo kit?

Wow. Nice! Very interesting news all of it.

Bob, judging by the price, I suspect the 599 will just include PE parts. Golf news is exellent! And I'm also hoping for a 430 Scuderia from Fujimi, hopefully sooner than this time next year

Extremely confused by the Enzo and completely share the wtf sentiment. With all due respect to Fujimi and their latest resurgence (boy has my wallet suffered the consequences!), they will not be able to do a better job than Tamiya, but I'm still very curious as to what it all means. P4-5 would be cool, but I'm not holding my breath.

Re: Huh? Another Enzo kit?

When the sales tax included,
Revell Enzo = 3780 yen ($33.16)
Tamiya Enzo = 3990 yen ($35.00)
Fujimi Enzo = 2600 yen ($22.80)
That must be the reason. I think Fujimi's Enzo will be an easy-to-build curbside kit, possibly with snap-together construction, like their R34 GT-R for casual builders. (Hasegawa has the rights to sell Revell kits in Japan, so it'll less likely be Revell-rebox, though it can happen.)

At one time, there were four FD3S RX-7 kits, so it's not really a bad thing for a fanatic like myself, who wants to compare kits from different manufacturers. But I understand the point that Fujimi's Enzo kit won't mean much in the countries where Revell kits are available for $15 or even less.

Well....it is and it isn't
The chassis and mechanicals underneath are an Enzo IIRC

I know. Do you think that Glylenhall (Probably I misspelt his name) will allow someone to produce a kit of that beauty?

Re: Huh? Another Enzo kit?

It says it will be form the Real Sports Car-Series. This often means curbside...But tell me, will they offer an Enzo with just the top of the engine, like they did with the recent Lamborghinis. This would surely be odd.
