camaro z28 or neon srt-4

hey im pretty new to cars and i was wondering if i should buy a camaro z28 (2000) 5.7L V8, or a dodge neon srt-4. Both are fast, but which one can i make faster? Can i put a supercharger in a 2000 camaro z28 5.7L V8?? or should i put upgrades in a dodge neon srt-4.....basically what i am asking is with the 8000 dollars that i have, which car should i get that has the MOST potential to be the fastest?

Get the Camaro since you can't get a running SRT-4 for 8 grand. Yes you can supercharge just about any of Chevy's blocks let alone the 5.7. Both will go much faster with upgrades.

alright cool, so with the neon out of the way should i put the 8grand into the camaro? or is there another car that has potential to be faster than the camaro that i can get for 8 grand?

That Camaro is the best bang for the buck out there...the LS1 kicks a lot of ass.
