Chevy Caprice 1993 Cruise Control problem
Hi there
My Chevy Caprice Wagon 1993 has a Cruise Control problem. The cruise works 1 times out of 10. Setting the cruise never works. Sometimes the accelerate (right arrow) will work, most time it does not. Turn signals works. Do I have to replace the cruise / turn lever arm? Or is something else in the matter? If its the lever arm, does anyone know where I can find this online (international shipping would be preferred). Have googled for it, but found only 1990 caprice lever arm. Have no idea whether it will work for my 1993. Thanks for any help Mikkel, Denmark |

You should test before replaceing parts. Get a manual (Haynes) or try on the net.

Re: Chevy Caprice 1993 Cruise Control problem
Mikkel,
Hey, what's a liter of gas going for in Denmark lately? $1.87 a gallon here in the U.S. until they figure out how to raise it. I have the same problem on my 1985 Caprice. The dealer said it was the turn signal lever (multifunction lever?) that needs to be replaced. Can't remenmber the cost. Pretty high. I chose not to waste the cash. Does the cruise work when you have the wipers on ?? My cruise works fine if I have the windshield wipers on. Rage |
