2001 3.8 pwr steering question

Hi All, recently my power steering reservoir appears to keep losing fluid and I haven't had a chance yet to get under it and make a real diagnosis. Car has 122k. My questions are is there a common point of failure in the either of the lines and I see that there was a TSB about it (Bulletin No.: 06-02-32-013) and I'm curious if this is a possible recall issue. Thank you

Re: 2001 3.8 pwr steering question

If the p/st shaft seal has gone bad, it will fling fluid around the belt area and coat teh front of the engine with fluid. The other common failure point is the rack and pinion itself, either the seal where the steering column hooks in, or where the inner tie rods hook in.

Check with a Chevy dealer, give them the VIN.
