96 Blazer Engine compatibility
Hello,
My 96 Blazer is in need of an engine. I have found a 97 engine. Will this engine work on a swap? What other engines are compatible with a 96 truck.? thanks

If the same size engine and same engine code it may work.
For engine swaping it is best to check with the salvage yard interchange book. MT

Fire up your earch engine and see what comes up.
But the best interchange info is the bone yard hollander interchange book. Good luck

the '97 4.3. will bolt up to the '96 you have, you shoul dhave no trouble in that respect.
