P1491 AFTER re-call performed
I have a 1998 Honda Accord EX with the v6 engine. It has 135,000 miles and at about 65,000 the recall to modify the EGR port was done. Now I am getting the P1491 code again. My after market manual says that I should have continuity between pins 1 and 2 of the EGR connector (apparently the sensor) and I do not. My question is does the port problem re-occur after the modification of the manifold and is the continuity test an accurate indicator of a failed EGR sensor? Also, how do I determine if the EGR Port is clogged?
