93 3.8ltr not charging

battery holds a charge
alternator is fresh from a rebuild.

i had to rewire the wire going to the starter from the alternator.

checked after that, was charging at 14.1 volts.

well, my friend took the van out, and it died. same problem. not charging.

i need to know what wires do what, so i can just directly re route the alternator wiring to the battery with all fresh wires so i can stop playing the find the bad wire game.

i got a plug going to the alternator, with a pink wire/white stripe, a brown wire, and a heavier gauge red wire.
i then have a heavier gauge red wire that directly bolts to the alternator.

what do i do?
