I searched but still don't have an answer
Ok, so I searched under backup lights and NSS and found a bunch of posts, a few answers if you have an AW4 tranny, but very little help for the 46RH. Here's the deal, my son bought a nice 93 GCL, runs great but has no backup lights. It occasionally has a starting issue which we originally thought was dirty battery cables but might have been the NSS. After discovering the backup light issue, after much research we replaced the NSS and the thing won't start at all (we tried two different new ones) or have backup lights so we went back to the old one and now it starts, but still no backup lights. I looked around the shifter for another switch and couldn't find one. All the help I've seen so far are for those NSS switches that fit over a shaft, this one screws into the driver's side of the transmission just above the pan and looks like a sending unit, not some contraption with cables and levers. I tried moving the shifter slowly to see if the lights flicker and they don't. I've checked all the fuses I can find and all are good. HELP??!!??!!??!!
