Interior lamps always on
Interior lamps stay on when the engine is running unless the lamps switch is shut off on the overhead console.

Re: Interior lamps always on
Had this problem also with my 99 Venture. Cleaned, wire-brushed, and lightly sanded the brass contacts that meet when the sliding doors close and it seems to have solved the problem.

Re: Interior lamps always on
could also be a stuck door switch as these are enclosed in a black rubber cover and build up moisture and get stuck. i have poked a hole in the bottom of the rubber and sprayed w-d-40 in there and worked it back and forth and got the switch to work again.

Re: Interior lamps always on
mine gets screwed up in the winter and the side door will make the dome lights stay on and a buzzer will sound but the ajar light stays off for some reason. have you tried turning the knob that turns the dome lights all the way to the left and see if the dome lights go off.it might be messed up

Re: Interior lamps always on
Try wriggling the ignition key a little while its running. My 99 silohoutte did this and it was a worn igntion switch... I never would have found it but I bumped the key once and the lights all went out!

Re: Interior lamps always on
Had the same problem. After cleaning the door contacts try reprogramming the BCM. The instructions are in the owners manual. This worked for me. By the way I could not find any switches on the front door jambs of my 2001 Venture.
