1992 tercel alternator
yes, im looking at a 1992 toyota tercel to purchase and the owner says the alternator is bad, can the car run in daylight hours to get it home. i will be driving approx 125 miles.

you can run for a little while. as long as the battery is fully charged. but you will most likely fry the battery. But it is a good idea to replace the battery with the alt. If it is fully charged then just keep the radio off and and stay off the brakes as much as possible. you can get pretty far.

oh btw they are decent cars. great gas miliage and have some pick-up. don't expect the world from it but they will last forever
