another headlight conversion question
Yo I have everything i need for a 1st gen to 2nd generation conversion hood, headlights no bulbs, turn signals and the bumper.
Do i need the brackets for the 2nd gen bumper? or can i just reuse the brackets from my first gen can anyone show me how much i need to shave from the first generation buckets and where a bracket needs to be placed, like a picture or somthing because the ones on stealth 316 are kind of confusing. Will the bulbs from the first generation work on my second gen headlights? Thanks! |

Re: another headlight conversion question
So you're trying to figure out how to modify your 1g to fit 2nd gen headlights? It's better to just get some 2nd gen headlight buckets and weld them to the chassis. And no, your 1st gen bulbs will not work. You will now need 9006 bulbs for low beam, and 9005 bulbs for high beam. (And H3 for fogs if your getting those too)
Here's a thread about converting, just do some searching and you will find what you need to know. Good luck! Edit-Here ya go

Re: another headlight conversion question
The wires (from first gen) just fit right up to the bulb (secondgen) right?
