This is going to sound dumb but...

How In the world do I get the battery out of the 97 gtp, its under the washer fluid resv, I only see one bolt holding that in... do i have to break the plastics tabs holding it in???? I feel so stupid for having to ask...

You have to remove the cross brace and then the washer fluid reservoir. Then you can get to the one bolt and retainer holding it on the tray.

it appears there are two bolts holding the front of the reservoir to the radiator support, and one nut/stud back by the strut.
