no vtec
i have a question. I just got done doing a b16a swap in my 91 crx si. I am throwing 3 codes at the momment. 1. vtec spool valve assembly 2. vtec oil pressure 3. knock snesor. The vtec assembly i know is good because it is brand new. and i only begin to throw the two vtec codes when i get to vtec land and it dont kick in. Is my problem linked to the knock sensor? If anybody has any suggestions please help me out.

well with the swap the wiring harnes u need to make has to be good and no cheap stuff and second with the normal pr3 ecu if you throw a code vtec will not hit at all, the knock sensor will cause no vtec also, plus you wont hit vtec unless the engine is warm and at wide open throttle, with all sensors working. unless you go muegen ecu witch takes away alot of the sensors and stuff but you will have no rev or speed limiter, so be carfule.
