'92 Chevy Lumina: replacing lighter fuse

'92 Chevy Lumina.
I want to repair my non working cigarette lighter. I have located a fuse panel within the glove box. There are several removed fuse slots with the following names: TL1, TL2, ABS, FPMP.
The following are names that do have fuses, but I thought I would mention in case they are related to the ligher: ECM, 3355B, CLUST, STSY, HZD, PANEL.
Could any of those be the lighter? Would it hurt to try putting in a new fuse with the correct amperage to test it?
Any other suggestions to get my lighter working?

Thanks for reading.

Welcome to AF. Turn the key on check for 12v on either side of fuses, the the dead one, 25 amp, usually is the culprit.

Re: '92 Chevy Lumina: replacing lighter fuse

I don't have a volt meter, but none of the fuses appear to be bad. And the only empty slots are named: TL1, TL2, ABS, FPMP, which did not seem able to hold a fuse firmly.

Could there be another fuse panel other than the one in the glove box that contains the fuse for the lighter?

I'm new to this so I am unfamiliar with how to repair it.

There is an under hood panel but I believe the fuse is in the g'box, a test lite cost 5 dollars.
