1999 Seville Stereo Help

Can I simply change my 1999 Seville stock radio/cassette with a 1998/1999 Seville Delco radio/cassette/CD player? Thanks for any help.

Since it has anti-theft features, you will need to have it programmed by a dealer to get it to work. And the Bose systems usually won't work with a stock non-Bose system.

Re: 1999 Seville Stereo Help

The bose units that you see are just an interface and not really the stereo itself. Just like the monitor for the computer is not the computer there is the key board, mouse, and CPU that make up the computer as a whole. The standard stereo just means that you can put an aftermarket unit in that much easier, and that is good news believe it or not.

Thanks. I thought I read something about a problem with the amp or pre-amp.
