help please

I have a JGC with a 5.2 V8 (1996) i have general questions that i could not find answers for when i did a search here.

1. other than the motor mounts, are there any other bolts to remove when pulling the motor out, and what is the best way to access the other bolts, as i dont see if there are bolts, attaching it to the tranny. Should i pull the starter and undo the bolts in the flywheel assembly?

2. Other than using a spanner wrench is there any way to pull off my engine fan from the water pump?

3. Does anyone know the size of the crankshaft pulley bolt, the motor is seized and I am trying to turn it. Should i fill the cylinders right up with oil, (RIGHT TO THE TOP, AND LET IT SIT FOR A WHILE).

any help is appreciated. thanks!

First off you may not want to tackle an engine swap without at least some experience. I usually do all of the work underneath first- remove exhaust head pipes from the manifolds, remove starter, remove inspection cover from engine to transmission and undo torque converter bolts (assuming it is an automatic) and if the engine is locked up you will probably have to leave the converter on the engine and skip this step, remove bell housing bolts (you'll find these if you look from the rear to the front sticking out of the bell housing), remove motor mount bolts, look around underneath for tranny cooler lines and wires that may be attached to the engine with clamps to keep them from dangling. On the top side you will probably end up pulling the radiator and evap assy. to gain enough clearance, plus the numerous wire plugs and hoses. Don't forget before doing anything unhook the battery.
As far as the cooling fan I usually use the proper size combination wrench 1 3/8 or whatever it is and put it on the hex with the wrench standing straight up and hold a little pressure on it with my left hand and strike the wrench sharply with a good size hammer in my right hand and if it doesn't loosen on the first blow give it another. You must hold a little tension with your left though or it won't work.
If the engine is seized you may as well kiss it good bye as it either seized from lack of oil or water and more than likely the pistons and rings were ruined. Depending on what happened the block probably isn't even salvagable.
