Testing fuel pressure 2001 v6

is it necessary to remove the power steering line to get to the fuelrail port? The tester I have says it works on vehicles up to a 98, is there a newer tester out there that will make the tight turn behind the power steering line? Thanks

Look for a valve on the fuel rail(looks like a tire stem). Otherwise you have to tap into the fuel line.
