Ok i'm pretty young and new at this.. but i own a 95 honda civic del sol.. its an s so its got a d1.5l engine.. I've ordered a turbo kit for the engine, its comming with everything exept oil liknes, wastegate, a guage and a boost controller... I don't ever know if you need a boost controller or not.. but anyway, i need to know if theres anything i HAVE to do to my engine or get to be able to send this in and get it installed? Also do i have to have the shop tune it? someone please tell me all of this, if you can..

Yes, get it tuned. Don't use an FMU.

Re: Just Getting Turbo KIT HELP PLEASE!!!
i would deff turbo it, its a strong motor. but i would get a boost controller and guage just to make sure you know how many psi you are running.i personally wouldnt run over 7-8psi and have the chance of blowing your motor.im guessing you car probly has over 100,000 miles on it.you should really get it dynoed professionally after you put the turbo in, its gona cost a couple hundred $$ but its worth it.
