Muffler Replacement 1994 Bonneville

SSE non-supercharged Dual Exhaust 3.8

How come nobody, (meaning the typical Napa, Autozone, etc) carries a replacement muffler for this car? I can’t even get a responds from the GM parts site concerning a GM replacement.

Anyone got any ideas where I can get a replacement? I really don't like this universal stuff I see on a couple parts sites. Nothing is universal without a lot of work.

Re: Muffler Replacement 1994 Bonneville

I give up on this muffler replacement. Its just a loose baffle anyway and a few wacks here and there seem to quiet it for now. Nobody can assure an replacement meets specs as the original. Don’t even know if I should be concerned or not. but I dont have a welder so a nice cut and clamp would have been great.

GMparts finally told me they don’t even have one. So I will decide later.

I did get the idle stall problem fixed(famous Bonny problem) , the heads up display problem fixed and the steering wheel radio controls fixed.

Hey, three out of four ain't bad...

Thanks for all the help and ideas.
