89 Riviera, no spark, wont start

I am stumped here! I was on my way to the car wash to vacuum out my car, and it started hesitating. Once at the car wash, it was iding very rough in park, and after I left, it got up to about 40 mph, and immediately died. After checking under the hood, I had noticed it is not getting any spark to the coil packs, so I replaced the coil packs, and ignition control module. Still nothing. It is getting fuel, and the schraeder valve is Definitley actively working, and I can hear the pump kick on as well. This car has 226,000 miles, and has never given me a problem really. Over the last few months it WONT start cold on the first cranking sequence, but as soon as you turn the key off after trying the 1st time, it fires right up. I have heard it COULD be the Cam. Position Sensor, and alternately read somewhere that this sensor runs along with the oil pressure sensor (?) my oil pressure gauge-digital-also reads 255 psi all the time. I have already dropped like 300 dollars into trying to repair this thing, and any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Ok, I replaced the Camshaft Position Sensor, and nothing changed. When I hit the TBI with starting fluid, it kind-of stutters, but still doesn't even fire...... Does anyone think it is the Crankshaft Position Sensor?? What else could it be, I'm darn near ready to put it up for sale, getting frustrated. Checked all the fuses, still no spark to the coil, good plugs, good wires.

I had to disconnect the battery to install coil packs, and ICM, so there are only code-12-diagnostic codes present.

I have a 95 Riviera which had the same exact problem. I thought it could be the coil packs first, but they were fine, the cam and crank shaft sensors are where I turned to next. I took it to a shop, and of all things, it was my ignition. Only half was sending out power, so while I maintained fuel pressure and everything else was fine, I did not have any codes being thrown at me and it seemed like an engine problem. You can check that if nothing else turns up.

Well, Had a friend who is a state certified technician come over and check it out, test light showed power to the coil packs at the connectors on the ICM, so we proceeded to take off the crank sensor and.....yep, there it was, the middle of the 3 towers on the sensor was completely MISSING! After testing the resistance of the sensor, surprise, big, fat 0!
