BMW 635 engines
Does anybody of the true Bimmer fans in here know, what metals engine block,head and gear box of the 1980 Alpina B7 Turbo (BMW 635) were casted from? Aluminium? Steel?

M30B35 has a cast iron block, with an aluminum head. I think its an aluminum Getrag transmission too.
