|
I went to the doctors yestaurday
Looks like im not gonna have many racing stories to tell for a while now.
I went to the doctors cause last friday i got a cold with a mild fever of 100 and a week later i still had the cough, headache, and nausea, and my cough was getting worse. Despite this i kept working and going through the day as always. So i went to the office my step father works at and they took some X-rays of my lungs and they took some blood and a urine sample. My lungs are messed up, they are congested with fluid, meaning I have bronchitis, but thats not all. my blood work came out as showing signs of pneumonia and that if I wouldve waited longer then I wouldve been in even more trouble. And the best part is that I still have to work despite the doctors all saying i need rest, why you might ask, because I work with my dad and the first thing he asked me was "are you coming tomorrow?" So I have a slow recovery ahead of me since I wont get a chance to rest up, fortunately tomorrow is saturday and i will be able to rest for 2 days before having to go back to work again.

Your dad sounds like my mom. When I felt sick before school, she would only let me stay home if I threw up multiple times or produced a fever hot enough to cook my breakfast on my forehead. The ONLY time she let me stay home was when I had a temp of 102 and I went to school the next day when it was a mere 100
 Good luck though. Get rest, get better.

Man...I remeber when I had bronchitis and I still went to football practice. That sucked.

Damn, that sucks man. Sorry to hear that, I hope you get well soon. I know exactly how you feel. I lost my job because of my hospital stay.

Ahh!! Good old pnuemonia. I had me a little struggle with that last winter. No fun at all. I couldbarely take a breath at all before I went. No insurance. I took the Z-pack. Its like a 5 day dose antibiotic. out of work for 7 work days getting better.
Its better to get well the first time around so make sure you get your rest until your better. Best part about my whole thing was the doctor thought I had a blood clot in my lung at first and got the nurse to give me a shot of something. MAN!! I have never been so fucked up so fast in my life.... Good times....
