burb stpped running

Stopped running a few hundred yards from home. Won't start. Fuel needle pointing to 3 o'clock position.

I think it the fuel pump....

Of course the wife filled it up yesterday with 44 gals...

Re: burb stpped running

Could one of several things.
Got fuel pressure?
Got spark to more than one spark plug?
If you have spark see if it will start on a shot of carb cleaner sprayed into intake.

Yes
But always get a good AC delco /delphi fuel pump.
Check around sometimes you can get the good AC delco for around 250 $ USA
Good luck

I just had my mechanic get it from the dealer...I don't have time to get it..And he wouldn't want to wait for it.

Re: burb stpped running

Make sure your mechanic checks the wiring connections on top of the tank. Lot's of posts about fried connectors. Also have him check the ground connection which is just forward of the tank on a cross member.

I worked commercial aircraft for 35 years and I know what you mean about engineers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!............Steve
