M3 breaks fan blades & Cold air Intake?

My E36 M3 breaks fan blades! The fan in question is the one located between the radiator and block. This is the second fan that it has destroyed. I know exactly when if flew off. The blade flew off of the when I had eased off a red light and motored 300 yards to the next light, then the car started idling rough. I think this time I'd like a metal cooling fan. I know these things are cheap for american musclecars- but does anyone know where to get one for a euro car?

Also, does anyone know where I can get a Used Cold air Intake w/ a K&N filter for cheap?
