05 Altima Trip Computer

I have an 05 Altima S with just an "A" or "B" mileage setting on the cluster. I would like to upgrade to the Trip Computer with outside temp, mileage, MPH, etc. Is this stored in the cluster, in the computer, or both?
What would I need to do for an upgrade?
I did this once with a 98 Jeep Cherokee. I bought a junkyard overhead console with the wireing harness and just plugged it into the existing plug on the computer. The only thing extra I had to buy was the outside temp probe which plugged into the prewired factory plug right at the radiator brace.
What do I need to accomplish this for my Altima? For that matter, is it possible at all?
