95 civic auto trans problems

I have a 95 civic EX. It had the stock vtec motor in it. the motor did not run so i had to roll it into the shop in neutral. I jacked the car up pulled the old motor out to replace it with a D16Z6 block that has a Y8 head on it. Now the point of all of this is after the old engine was pulled i let the car down to roll it out of the shop and the car will not roll when it is in neutral. I checked the fluid, Shift cable adj.,i took the brakes off to ensure they weren't draging. If someone has had similar problems i could use the advice. Thanks
