Question 2000 GLS Input speed sensor

Could someone please tell me the location of the input speed sensor on my 2000 GLS. I have E-code 715 and would like to avoid taking it to the dealer.
Thanks in advance

Re: 2000 GLS Input speed sensor

The input speed sensor is on top of the transmission, about in the middle of the transmission, near the bellhousing, also you have to know that there is one sensor that look like the same, it's near the back of the transmission, just on top of the differential but that's the output speed sensor.

Go to

http://www.hmaservice.com/

register (it's free) and then clic "Service Information" on the top left, you can then select your vehicule and do a search, there are pictures to show you where the sensor is.
