Tranny/electrical Problem???

The other day i was on my way to work and i herd my car sound a little deeper, when i turned down the radio it sounded normal, but when i got on the highway, about a mile down my car just shut off, I put it in neutral and tried starting it but it woundnt start, after pulling to the side of the road i checked under the hood for anything... my battery is at 14V, and everything worked perfect like the radio and windows, etc... but the car wouldnt turn over.. I added a little more oil since it was a little low, but didnt work, i also had a full tank of gas. Also, when i coasted to the side of the road and tried starting it the D for drive was blinking like it thought it was still in drive and would not come off.. It is a 93 prelude si, 135K, auto tranny
The only thing wrong with the car before that is a vacume leak but i already fixed that..... Anyone with answers or suggestions please help me so i dont have to pay more money at the shop, i know how to fix cars i just dont know how to trouble shoot,
Thank you

Re: Tranny/electrical Problem???

whenever the d4 sign starts blinking then that means tha the transmission control module detects a problem. in order to find out whats wrong ur gna have to short the 2p wire located on the passenger kick panel should be blue when the d4 starts blinkin thats when u have to short the check engine 2p wire do not turn off after the d4 blinks because u will reset tcm.. so do that and count the blinks
