We ran a little article in our Autofinder about this guy who lives about 80 miles out of St. George. He owns the photo Eleanor - there were several. There was the one for the driving scenes, the one for the actors to sit in for non-action scenes, and the one to be photographed for publicity and such. He bought the photo one - for $95,000 and has already made $25,000 doing shows and promos (people pay him to have the car at their events). He has a huge garage - like 25 car or so and it's filled with collectible autos, some he's imported from Europe, like a Renault, and a whole bunch of others that I don't remember offhand. Unfortunately I was not there the day they went and took photos so I did not get to go.

It was actually based on the Shelby GT 500 KR (for King of the Road version). which had extra scoops more power and better suspension than the regular GT 500
