I ordered the first set for my friend jaxson's Celica, he tells me they are about 17" in scale. They're not painted, though. They come with a set of brembo discs.

I have the Nismo wheels, they are nice, although somewhat on the small side, but perfectly fit for my aplication.

Talking I got these!!

Thanks Guys, now that i placed my order from HLJ i was waiting for this in my email:
FUJ19177 1/24 Wheel #03 Nismo NS5R Wheel #03 Nismo NS5R
1 piece(s) @ 500 yen each = 500 (From Order No. 0046xxxx)

FUJ19213 1/24 Kranze Shoki 18in Parts Maker Wheel Series #05
1 piece(s) @ 700 yen each = 700 (From Order No. 0046xxxx)

Merchandise Total: 1200 yen
Shipping Charge: 680 yen

i knew it was going to be expensive to ship, but how'd they get that number!?!?! i tried applying their formula (total weight x price per gram., )and i got a completly different number...like more along the lines of 200yen. (the order is about 120grams) i'm probably wrong but could someone please demonstrate how the shipping can be estimated if the weight and size of items is known?!?! and if possible what is the ideal number of items to to be shipped? in other words maximizing the #of items per shipping charge? or how many sets of wheels can shipped with 680yen? or does the price of shipping go up no matter what??!?!
thanks for reading this far!!

MaxSE,

the shipping cost includes the weight of the package that they put your stuff in. It's probably the smallest package they have. Plus your from canada

but if order more than it won't seem like it's that much more expensive.

ah i see but from what i can remember there was a thread around here somewhere that..... someone claimed they could calculate the exact cost of shipping though some kind of formula before even ordering... i suppose being half way around the world fomr HLJ contributes to the high cost but i guess i'll just wait and see what kind of "package" this gets shipped in, and make a guess to how many more rims/items can fit in for the same 680yen shipping cost! thanks!

Shipping is around 1280 per kilogram, so you also need to include the weight of the package they send it to you in, which is pretty big and strong (made of cardboard). You look at joemclaw's order, he ordere 3 more sets of rim than you did, but he was only charged like 60 more yen than you were.

Moral of the story is, when you order from HLJ, order in big shipments to keep shipping costs down.
