A lady t-boned me in my 2007 grand prix gt

The whole drivers side is crushed in, she was driving an SUV. She ran a stop sign, freakin old people. Anyway has anyone delt with new cars and insurance? Im just wondering if its gonna get totaled or not because I dont wanna get back a car that isnt working perfectly like it was before. The fire dept had to cut/rip my door off to get me out lol. So it looks like they cut through 30 or so wires in the process and im not sure if they can just solder on to them or they have to re run all the wires lol. If anyone has experience in dealing with these kinds of things please lemme know.

IF you were hit hard enough to have to be cut out, the car will most likely be totalled by your insurance company. Some insurance companies offer total replacement on new cars, some will only give you blue-book value. Chances that a collision shop could get the car back right are slim by what you describe.

Bummer and sorry to hear that. Hopefully you are OK and you got checked out medically. The effects of the collision may not be felt for days. I agree based on how bad this sounds the insurance company will most likely total the car out. If the car is financed and under a lien that will be a factor. Damn ladies recklessly driving SUVs.

well im ok physically aside from horrible headaches ive been getting for the past few days. I am gonna see a doctor about those. I have it out on a loan and even if its totaled and i get the blue book value i only payed 17000, bb is 23000, so im good no matter what. Im really hoping that happens because i dont wanna get back a car that isnt as good as what i bought.
