WTB: Stock/aftermarket shifter!

as the title says, i want a shifter, i cut mine a few years back to make the stick shorter for an aftermarket shift knob that stood really high on the stick, but i put the stock one back on, and the shifter is WAY to short now, i hit my knuckles on the center console whenever i shift into 1st, 3ed, and 5th... anyone got one laying around? Paypal.

Re: WTB: Stock/aftermarket shifter!

Hey man, I got my stock one. I also cut it and welded it back together but it isin't that low. Maybe 3/4", I never hit my hand on anything and the boot fits great up to the stock knob. Let me know if you want it. I am going home this weekend and could have it shipped on Saturday.

Re: WTB: Stock/aftermarket shifter!

I've got the stock shifter untouched. No cuts or welds. Same thing, need it, let me know.

Re: WTB: Stock/aftermarket shifter!

Ah damn dude, man up! You're not cool unless you hit your knuckles on the area around the shifter boot when you shift!

I have a stock 90, but unless you were just throwing in one to make it back to stock I wouldnt recommend it (90's had the longest stock throw).

Re: WTB: Stock/aftermarket shifter!

O shit, Hell no mine not near that short. Like I said its only cut about 3/4" to 1". You wont be dissapointed. I dont have any pics of it in the car but I can take some of just the shifter and maybe a ruler beside it though. I hated how tall it was to. It about the perfect height now. I ended up cutting my short shifter to. I hate how tall they come. And you cant even tell either one was cut.

Re: WTB: Stock/aftermarket shifter!

Damn look at that stub. lol. That's hort as hell. Isn't it harder to shift with the top half that short? Seems like it's not enough space or whatever to not get enough momentium going in your arm.
