1999 Explorer XLS Possible intake leak

My 1999 Ford Explorer XLS, 4X4, 87,000 mi., 4.0 V-6 seems to have a small antifreeze leak coming from the back side of the engine. It is not a lot, around a half gallon every two weeks or so depending on driving. I want to say its the intake manifold since I cannot see where it is coming from. On the under side of vehicle I can see it dripping from the bell housing of the tranny. I have been told that there was a plastic part on the intake that Ford was warrenting for seven years after the original warrenty. If anyone has any knowledge of this please feel free to comment.

Thanks,
Larry
