Hey if you have done some type of maintenance or troubleshooting on your lincoln ls, Share your knowledge.

I am trying to change the transmission floid in my lincoln ls sport. I can't find the fill plug.

There is no "fill plug" per se. The fill plug is the same as the drain plug.

Check the maintanence manual though, I believe the service interval is rated at 150k miles. A special fitting is needed to fill the transmission properly. I'm not sure if that plug is available to the general consumer yet.

I may just need to chuck up the courage and finally take her to the dealer.

From the sounds of things, I'm going to need a new shift solenoid.
