Frond left wheel is touching.....

Frond left wheel is touching the inside of the wheelhouse (probable not correct word)
When I make a sharp left turn the inside of the tire will hit the wheelhouse.
How to adjust this problem???
Is there somewhere a stop that I can adjust??

The car has to go before the 24 October to yearly checkup.

Many thanks in advance

Paul

Got this same problem with my 91 New Yorker! Just dont turn very sharp! lol. I had my wheel inspected, it doesnt appear to be off-balance or anything. So im not sure, hopefully someone here knows the cure....cuz when it does scrape against it not only is it wearing down the tire ultra fast its also a fire hazard if the tire flames up from the heat! Iv smelled it before when its scraped.

Unless you put oversized tires or different rims on there should be enough room. It sounds like you have something out of alinement or is bent.

Hello Taillight,

There are no oversize tires on the car matchsize original, not in line any more??
The cars behavior is normal, with no hands the car will stay on the road even when i brake.
The garage wil check this up, I have no tools to check.

Gr Paul

Re: Frond left wheel is touching.....

You might have hit a hole or bump that pushed the whole wheel assembly back.

Can't see anything strange under the assembly, the garage will take soon a closer look.

Thanks
