wanna go fast

i have a 94 crown vic with a 4.6l in her, is there any ways that i can improve her performance without spending alot?

Something free to do is take off the air silencer. makes the engine sound better, and may add a horse or two.

the air silencer is on the bottom of the air cleaner. it looks kinda like a funnel

Well, I have a 1994 Vic too. Right on! But Yeah some ideas are; Get rid of the muffler and run it straight or put on a cherry bomb it will help your top end, next you could throw in a Fram Air Hog air filter (not a K&N! The computer doesnt like them) You also could throw in some platinum iridium plgs and accell or MSD wires. Keep your oil cahnged and fuel filter clean. good luck.
