repair a frount strut tower?
Has anyone else had the uni body rip apart near the top of the front strut tower? If so has a repair been done? I just don't see how it could be fixed so the alinment would ever be close, but I am hoping!

Re: repair a frount strut tower?
Take your car to a good frame shop. They can mig weld a good part in and do an alignment when they are done. The cost won't be cheap and repairs depend on good parts to weld to so have the car towed after asking the mgr. if he can do it and get a rough estimate before towing. Some of these shops can make it look like new when they are done. They have frame stretchers and other alignment tools.

Re: repair a frount strut tower?
This is actually a common problem on late 90's dodge caravans, and is done all the time in body shops. I suppose the hardest part would be to find the correct part, if GM makes only the strut tower piece.
