Problems putting 99 Honda into Park.
Im having trouble putting my 99 honda passport into park.
When I go to stop sometimes I try to put it in park, and everything appears like its going in park (vehicle doesn't move, gear postion readout on dash says P for park) but when I go to remove the key, it doesn't let me remove the key, and also, the shifter is not snuggly in park [for instance I can move it to another gear without pressing the shift button on the shifter]. Its a 2WD 99 Honda Passport with 135K miles. Thanks. |

Re: Problems putting 99 Honda into Park.
Same problem here,
I had to adjust the park/neutral switch on the transmission. drivers side where the cable attaches. the haynes manual shows how pretty easy.
