Fidanza Flywheel Help
I have a 98 honda civic that I swapped out transmissions yesterday because I was tired of the dx trans. I went for a 95 civic ex manual trans. I bought a stage 3 ACT clutch and a Fidanza aluminum flywheel. Now I have problems. The car will idle all day long with no problem. It's when I'm rolling and press the clutch pedal the engine dies. It doesn't matter how fast I am going or not. If you take too long between changing gears the car died. It has plenty of power and there are no CEL's. I also have an underdrive pulley on the crank. Anybody know how I can fix this or am I screwed? I has to mess with the idle adjustment first because it wouldn't even idle so I turned the idle screw on the t-body a 1/4 of a turn and now it idles at about 850 rpm. I am just stumped and have no idea what to do.

Re: Fidanza Flywheel Help
Did you use the MT ECU? Or maybe your clutch is just too stiff and is stalling the tranny.

Re: Fidanza Flywheel Help
I already had a manual trans so I didn't have to change the ECU. When I come to a stop if I just lug it in gear down to 1500 rpm then push in the clutch it will not die. I guess I will just have to change my driving habits. Fidanza tol me the only thing I could do is go back to my OEM crankshaft pulley. I have an underdrive on it.
