Talking Are you in the Gallery?

Hello Fellow Modelers!

I'm asking for some help with the Gallery, regarding all the entries already submitted (whether I've managed to get them posted yet or not! :o)

I found a spare moment today to set up a simple database that I could use to generate the pages for the gallery. (Instead of doing them by hand! ) So, while I have to standardize the format, I might as well ask for a few more bits of info to make the Gallery more complete. You know, the more info listed on the pages, the more we're listed in search engines...

So, for every model you've sent me for the Gallery, please PM me or post here with the following additional info:

(this is the info for the car, not the model)
  • Year
  • Make
  • Model
  • Sponsor/Team (for race cars/tuners)
  • Manufacturer
  • kit number
  • scale

Most of these are pretty easy. If you have any questions, post them here!

Thanks for all your help! You guys make this a great site!

Jay

Umm...seeing as how the only one of mine in there is the Revell ITR and there's many other ITRs in there. I'll let someone else post all that stuff and you can just use it for mine too.

P-man's going to have one heck of a time

I'll try to get you the info, it'll be included in my next gallery submission (which I hope won't be the straw that breaks teh camel's back, I imagine you've probably already accumulated quite a backlog of work!)

Jay,
I was thinking of trying to get some of my models in the gallery. Can I just email them to you? I kept the location information for most of the models I`ve posted here. Can I send you the links instead of resending all the model pics, or is that harder for you?
Thanks.

A few added detail I'm looking for:
  • Chassis code (since we build so many Japanese cars, and that is a common terminology when referring to them)
  • Race Event/Series the car is from (for race cars. Feel free to include both... i.e. A WRC car for the 2000 season modeled to represent the car from a particular rally that year.)

Thanks!

Kicker, for ITRs, what I'm looking for is a model year that the model car represents. The Revell kit you love () builds an ITR that is accurate for a 1998, 2000 or 2001 car, but not a 1997 car. So pick which it is... a 1998, 2000 or 2001 car. See? It's easy!

That's exactly why I'm re-organizing the way I do it now. Why keep doing it the manual way, when instead I can invest that time into a process that will do the work for me, and allow me to do it more quickly in the future? (And keep me from doing as much as possible on my home machine, which is slowly dying! )
