Help please

i just bought a '85 Ford Thunderbird. It ran wonderful but they took their battery. I installed a new one and now the car won't fire over. it sounds like it tries but the engine isn't getting any fuel. any ideas?

Check for fuel and spark. Maybe you just flooded it. Pull the plugs and replace if bad.

make sure you got a battery with enough cold crank amps. check owner manual...consult previous owner

make sure its all the way in park...sometimes mine does that. mines much older than urs so its just a suggestion.
