!995 Jeep GC, A/C cold, then not cold

1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, V-8, 5.2 liter

The system is full, with no leaks. Sometimes the A/C blows at 40 degrees and its ice cold, then most times it blows at 60 degrees and its not cold enough. It has a new accumulator, installed 6 months ago. Evaporator fins are clear no bugs or anything blocking it. I do notice that it seems to blow colder in the morning rather than in the afternoon or evening. What else could cause this problem? Any suggestions would help.

Gary

Did you test the pressure switches, low and high. Try to short out the low pressure switch with a paperclip and see if you get continuous cold air. Other thing to try is to see if the blend doors are working under the dash, perhpas they are stuck in an odd position.
