Should I buy?

This chick my sister knows asked me if I wanted to buy her 67 mustang coupe for $5,000. It has original 289 engine auto trans she didnt want to sell it but she moved out of town and couldnt take it with her it just stayed coverd parked in her back yard.the body's in prety good condition. but my friend tells me that its way to expinsive, should I buy it?

if its rust free and has decent paint, that sounds like a good deal. check out http://ww2.collectorcartraderonline.com and ebay motors and search by year, model and price range and see how it stacks up.
