Used car for under $4,000
Hi, I'm looking for a used car under $4000. My requirements are that it be stick, relatively good on gas, and most importantly, reliable, as I won't have much money to throw at repairs.
Honda and Toyota have great reputations for reliability and not being money making machines for mechanics. What years should I expect to find in this price range? Any things to look out for on any years for civics, accords, corollas or camrys? Any other useful information you think might help my search?

Also, I'm seeing some Geo and Chevy prisms advertised as being the same as Toyota Corollas (mechanically). Is this true for all years? (I've seen anywhere from 95's to 2001's)
