This question is actually for a '93 Roadmaster Wagon, but I can't get any answers on that forum. The problem is water leaking in somewhere that collects behind the rear wheels. There is no visible drain, so rust is beginning to form in this area.
Has anyone experienced this and found out where the leak is? Or, do you have good ideas on where to drill for a drainhole? |

Re: '93 Caprice Wagon Quarter Panel Water Leak
Is it on the side with the spare?

Re: '93 Caprice Wagon Quarter Panel Water Leak
Most of it is on the driver's side. It leaks in if the car is parked outide when it rains.
The problem on the passenger side was easy to fix. Water was leaking in around the inner fender where the factory undercoat had eroded. I sprayed it with undercoat and that side is pretty much water-free. |

Re: '93 Caprice Wagon Quarter Panel Water Leak
I looked underneath again. There is a plastic hole plug about 1 1/2" in diameter near the bottom of the inside edge of the quarter. It is sealed with undercoat--looks like from the factory. Has anyone used this as a drain?
