95 caravan 3.3l replace fuel pressure regulator?
I would like to replace the fuel pressure regulator on the 3.3l engine. It appears to not be functioning which seems to cause some difficulty starting. Can it be done without special tools or procedures? thnx for the info.

How have you determined the malfunction with the pressure regulator? The only way is with fuel pressure gauges on the fuel rail. Let us know.

Re: 95 caravan 3.3l replace fuel pressure regulator?
thnx for asking- When I take the vacuum hose off of the regulator, fuel seeps out of the opening while the engine is shut off. It doesn't flow, just a slow drip. I was told by a mechanic that this is a possible test to determine if the regulator is functioning properly.

Fuel should not come out of the vacuum hose. Replace the regulator.

It should unbolt from the fuel rail.
