Ht383e

I was wondering if anyone on here has swapped in an HT383E in place of thier stock vortec 350 and if so, how satisfied are you and is it worth the $4,000+ for it. I have a '96 k1500 heavy half Z71 and with 240,000+ miles on the orginal drivetrain the vortec is gettin a little tired as is the transmission. For those of you who don't know anything about it, GM claims its a direct replacement for '96-'99 vortec 350's. It makes 340hp and 435lb.ft., with easy plug and play install, no computer or fuel system mods. with the lift and 37" tires i have planned for this truck, the HT383E looks to be a perfect fit, so if anyone has any more knowledge or input, let me know, thanks.
