Intermittent electrical short??? Or worse??

What would cause the gauges to go crazy and kill all power to the car? I replaced a fusible link at the starter about a year ago but it looks good yet. The car ran good except it would just stall at any speed at any time and all the dash lights would start blinking and gauges go crazy like the power was getting cut and applied several times a second then it would be fine while driving. Now it won't start at all. Tested the ignition module and the coils. Both fine. Getting fuel TOO injectors but don't think it's getting to the cylinders. Dry plugs. Was thinking Crank Poss Sensor but not sure. No codes came out when I tested the diagnostic port. It's a 1994 Achieva with the 2.3 Quad SOHC

Re: Intermittent electrical short??? Or worse??

Did you test the battery ?
Should be at least 12 vlts up to 13.5 with the engine off.
Would be higher when running - 14 vlts .

Check the battery terminals also.

and Welcome to AF.
