What to do with this friend and bet?!?

Here's the deal. I got this wacky friend with this 97' chevy cavalier. He's insisting that at the begining of the next year we race for $100. I keep telling him he's a moron and he can't do that and he won't beat me but he keeps insisting. Now I know I'm not going to race for money, one I don't got any, two i'm afraid....
Anyways I'm just wondering why he thinks he can win. I'm curious what he thinks he's adding
I know I am getting a new intake (frankencar) and probably a budget y-pipe. I know I could win but I don't know whats going on
Also, he's bigger then me, I'm thinking that maybe he has nothing to lose and if I win he won't pay me and I can't do anything about it, but if I lose he's going to force me to pay....

Farbs, go ahead take the easy money, I looked up his 0-60 & 1/4 miles times on cars-stats.com and the best any Cavalier could do is 8.5 and like 16.9 in the 1/4.
They way you do it if you're scared is to get 2 people to assist in the race, have them pick the location (preferrably a good clean street at least 1/4 or more long) and have one person at the start line and the other at the finish. The person starting raises both hands and drops them to signal the start, the other at the finish raises both hands to signal the winner. Prior to starting the race you both have to give a $100 to the person starting the race, this way it is fair and square.
Now go get that cash>and oh yeah, I forgot that this advice costs $50.00 for legal advice, haha.:flash:

i used to have a cavalier. this will be the easiest money you've ever made, unless he gets a new engine or something. anyway if he wants to bet and wont pay up if you win, he's a scum bag and i wouldnt call him a friend

why in gods name are u telling this guy to race??? only race on the conditions that you know he is stock or u know what hes got. unless i read it wrong, u didnt say anything about him being stock, for all u know he may turbo or a 100shot of nitrious. race him only if he running average bolt on's like exhaust intake, if has any type of forced induction dont race for money

Trust me. like i said i had a cavalier. i dont care if he has a 20 psi turbo charger he still isnt winning. dont worry about it

We telling him to race because he's being challenged, I don't care, hell I'd race a Vette even though I know he's gonna spank me like a baby, this ain't like a Vette or something he's racing even with the 100 shot nitrous he still will be putting out a lil more hp or roughly the same as a 2k or 2k2/2k3 with mods.

Besides you win some and you lose some, if he has to have bolt-ons and mods or whatever just to beat your lil normally aspirated "Family Car" then he need to be racing someone that is in his league or junk that piece of crap and by a real car (Nissan Maxima>cars like it 0).:smoka:
